Freedom Fest ‘24
Come volunteer with us as we make the biggest Independence Day bash Gaines County has seen yet! Brought to the community by the Seminole Chamber of Commerce, Freedom Fest ‘24 will be a red, white, and blue family-friendly party with vendors, food trucks, and of course, fireworks! Check back here for more information on joining our group when we volunteer behind-the-scenes to make this event happen!
Character Camp 2024 (Volunteer with Us!)

Snow Place Like Home
Snow Place Like Home, a vendor event brought to Gaines County by the Seminole Chamber of Commerce, is a wonderful November event at the Gaines County Civic Building each year. The Blue Crew will be volunteering to help set up and run the event, join us! Check back here as we get more details as we get closer to the date!

Feed My Starving Children MobilePack 2024 (Volunteer with Us!)
The annual Seminole MobilePack event from nonprofit Feed My Starving Children will take place in 2024 from April 18th-20th at the Community Center in Seminole. The whole community comes together to pack healthy meals to ship to countries in need around the world. To sign up to volunteer at this event or donate funds to purchase the bulk food pallets for this event visit the Feed My Starving Children website at:

Earth Day Clean Out and Clean Up Event
The Seminole Chamber of Commerce is leading the 2nd Annual Earth Day Clean Out and Clean Up event in Seminole on April 19th and 20th this year. The event consists of a community yard sale and a city-wide cleanup day. Call 432-758-2352 to set up a time to drop your donations off for the yard sale!

Community Closet (Volunteer with Us!)
Join us as we volunteer at The Hope Center on Wednesday February 14th to help them set up their Community Closet event! This event sees a ton of clothing and other items given away to those in need in the Gaines County area. The event itself will open to the public on February 15th-16th from 9am to 5pm each of those days. To volunteer to help reach out to The Hope Center at 432-758-1685 or emailing lisa@hopecenter.life

Snow Place Like Home
With an ice skating rink, vendors, events, raffles, photo ops, and music the Snow Place Like Home Holiday Market event is hugely popular in our community and great way to boost local small businesses!

Seminole Strong Backpack Event
At this event, families can come with their children and receive a free backpack with school supplies for their campus, and a shoe voucher for a free pair of shoes at Hibbett Sports. There will also be free food, face-painting, inflatables, free haircuts, live music and children’s dental kits! Freedom Fest
The Freedom Fest is the largest 4th of July celebration in Gaines County each year and consists of countless vendors at the Gaines County Park and an experience that culminates with a huge fireworks display at the end of the night. More details to come! Date and time is subject to change!

FMSC MobilePack Event
The Feed My Starving Children MobilePack Event consists of hundreds of volunteers from around Gaines County coming together to pack nutritious meals for hungry children all around the world. Led by the nonprofit Feed My Starving Children and local volunteer leaders, this event is the largest volunteering event in Gaines County! Register yourself or your group at www.fmsc.org to register a date and time!
Library Kickoff Party Prep (Seminole Branch)
Join the Seminole branch of our local library system on May 31st at 10:00am to help the library staff prepare for their event! They’ll be holding their Carnival-themed kickoff party with lots of guests to come visit the various booths we’re going to help set up!

Memorial Day Flag Pickup
Join us as we assist our local chapter of Rotary International to pick up the American flags they distribute each Memorial Day in Seminole! We’ll be picking up flags on two routes and taking them back to storage in preparation for next year’s Memorial Day! We all do our part to keep the memories of Memorial Day alive each year.

City-Wide Cleanup
Join the Seminole, TX community as we band together to clean up our city! Come by April 22nd from 9am to Noon and get some free hotdogs and T-shirts to boot!
