CERT, or Community Emergency Response Team, is a group of civilians with CERT training to respond in major emergencies. Andrews, Gaines, and Dawson counties are members of Permian Basin CERT, led by PBRPC. Terry and Yoakum counties are members of South Plains CERT, led by SPAG. As of 2025, there are no active CERT teams in our region.
