From people we assist: name, contact details, county, household information needed to coordinate help, and case notes recorded by staff.

From volunteers and staff: name, contact details, coverage areas, training records, time entries, and signed forms.

From donors and supporters: name, email, and the details needed to record a contribution. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and are never stored by us.

Automatically: basic technical information (browser, device, and error details) used to keep the site working.

To coordinate assistance, schedule deliveries and volunteers, meet grant and legal reporting duties, acknowledge donations, and keep accounts secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Only with staff and volunteers whose role requires it, with partner organizations when you have authorized a referral, and with the service providers listed on our subprocessors page. We also disclose information when the law requires it.

Records are kept as long as needed for the assistance provided and for the retention periods required by our funders and by law. Health-related records are held for the minimum retention period required before deletion is possible. Exact retention schedules are being confirmed by our board and will be listed here once approved.

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us not to sell or share it (we do not sell it in any case). Where these rights conflict with a legal retention duty, we will explain what we must keep and why.

Submit a privacy request and we will confirm your identity before acting on it. We respond within 45 days.

We assist households that include children, and a parent or guardian provides that information. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children online.
